Bell Hooks writes, “Patriarchy is the single most life-threatening social disease assaulting the male body and spirit in our nation.” 

  • Explore why 9 out of 10 boys say they are “sad, afraid, and lonely” behind the mask of “happiness, athleticism (bravado), and jokes.”
  • Examine the importance of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mental health access in the life trajectory from boys to men.
  • Critique the tradition and social structure of male leadership in the female dominated sector of education.
